Xtracycle PeaPod Longtail Bike Child Seat

Our hats go off to Xtracycle for their constant drive forward to create great accessories for the Xtracycle Freeradical kit. With all of the new Xtracycle accessories now available, there are none that we are not more excited by than the PeaPod LT.

The PeaPod turns your Xtracycle into a true multi-modal vehicle for family cycling. With a PeaPod, the Xtracycle is now capable of transporting younger children (20 - 49lbs), groceries or other cargo on the side bags and more cargo or even a 2nd older child riding on the flight deck along with the Xtracyle stoker kit. It is even possible to carry 2 children by mounting 2 PeaPods onto your Xtracycle.

The Xtracycle PeaPod is constructed from impact resistant plastic that is lead and phthalate free. The PeaPod's safety and comfort comes from the adjustable 5 point harness, removable/washable seatpads, adjustable footrests and the cushioned crossbar all working together harmoniously.

The Xtracycle PeaPod is designed specifically for use with the Xtracycle FreeRadical and the Surly Big Dummy in combination with the Flight Deck. A pair of Watchamacollars is required for Free Radical and Big Dummy setups in order to achieve a safe and secure lock down of the V-Racks. The PeaPod is also available for use with the Kona Ute Longtail bike (requires Ute specific Flight Deck available by special order). The PeaPod can also b used on a standard bike, mounted to a rear bicycle rack (see PeaPod instructions for details)
