Wandertec Tuba Bike Cargo Trailer Extra Large

A Bike Trailer for Car-Sized Errands. The Wandertec Tuba is designed for life-sized loads -- bigger and more versatile than most consumer bike trailers which only supplement a car-dependent lifestyle.

The Tuba is for carrying groceries, trips to the hardware store, hauling supplies to soccer practice, and many other domestic trips that used to be the exclusive province of the family car.

The universal hitch system mounts to any bike with a quick release or nutted axle.

The Tuba will be available with the following optional accessories:

Load Bed
A flat loading surface made from strong, lightweight Baltic birch plywood with multiple attachment points for the included tie-down straps.

Rail System
Aluminum rails to provide stability for your cargo as you pile it up. Connect straps and bungees to these rails to secure your cargo.

Liner
Protects your cargo from mud and road grime while it retains smaller items without having to strap them down. More than 11,000 cubic inches below the rim for the Extra Large Liner, and 7700 cubic inches the Large Liner.

Rain Cover with a Cross Support
The cover keeps your cargo dry, while the cross support prevents sagging.
Both the small and large Tubas are equipped with Wandertec's custom strap system. Or fit a bag or box to suit your purpose. Many commercially available bags and boxes will bolt or strap onto the trailer.
