Wandertec Quick Release Spacer

These 1/4 inch thick washers are used as spacers for mounting Burley, Croozer, Radical Designs and Chariot hitches to bikes with Breezer Style dropouts. Simply remove your QR skewer, slide the hitch on the skewer, slide 1 or 2 spacers on the skewer (depending on depth of dropout flange), insert the skewer through the hub, screw on the tightening bolt on the drive side of the bike and arrange the hitch in the proper location. In some cases your QR skewer may not be long enough, to accommodate these spacers.

Another application for these spacers is in conjunction with BOB trailers and bikes with rear racks. The spacer goes between the QR and dropouts so that when the Bob trailer is lifted or bounced up it doesn’t collide with the lower mounting pole of the rack.

To properly use these spacers on a standard size hub you will need the 145mm Bob Quick Release and 2 Wandertec Quick Release Spacers. This setup will work with either the standard fork or 28" fork. Because your quick release is now approximately 10mm longer you will need to spread the BOB fork dropouts a bit to get it to attach to the QR, this Isn't going to harm your fork in anyway.
