Extrawheel Fork is now available in 29er size!

We carry the full range of forks for Extrawheel. If you need a replacement or you already have an Extrawheel and want to use it with a different size wheel than you are setup for, all you need is a new fork to make it ready to go. The Extrawheel fork's unique tensioned steel design makes switching fork sizes a breeze.

The Extrawheel Voyager fork is now available in 3 sizes for standard 26" and 700c wheels, longer 29er wheels and wider Pugsley style wheels.

Notes on Extrawheel fork spread:

The standard and long (29er) Extrawheel fork works on bicycle hub widths up to 155mm.
The Wide Extrawheel Fork (Pugsley Fork) can be used for bicycle hub widths up to 170mm.
There is currently not an option for anything wider than 170mm though the wider Extrawheel quick release does spread to 190mm.

Standard fork mounts to bicycles with 26" or 700c wheels
Long (29er) fork mounts to bicycles with "29er" tires, European 28" wheels and also offers extra clearance for fenders for use with standard sized wheels.
Wide (Pugsley) fork offers extra width for clearance around Surly Pugsley tires.

Long (29er) fork dimensions (L x width at tire): 18" x 5"

Hey, I am reviewing the fastening fork for the Pugsley style wheels, but first a bit about the trailer. The Extrawheel trailer is a fantastic bit of gear, I have used it extensively on my Cannondale Rush. The main benefit over other trailers is how close it sits in behind the bike, it tracks rally well in tight stuff so it doesn't take out trees on corners like other longer set ups. The Fork just clips on to the supplied drop outs yet I have not had it disengage despite very rough ground. I also got the panniers and these are holding up well. Now to the Pugsley style fork, be aware that without modification it only works with symmetrical Fatbikes such as the Fatback, Sandman and the Mukluk and then only when using Endomorph tires. It does not clear the new Larry tire by Surly, width is fine but it is not long enough to clear the higher profile of the Larry. This cannot be modified. It does not fit the Surly Pugsley, or other offset rear ends such as the 907. The fork is not offset so it rubs ion the brake side of the tire. This can be modified by using quite a large spacer to offset the fork to the brake side. And of course only then used with a Larry tire. Bear in mind that the trailer fits most MTB tires but definitely not Endos or Larry,
