After six months of switching our original hitch back and forth between two bikes, we decided to simplify things with an extra hitch. It's been as great of a choice as our choice to purchase our Croozer trailer in the first place. If you have two people regularly pulling the same trailer, the extra $20 is very worth it.

I got my wife a cheap second hand "mountain bike" for Christmas. I have a Kidarooz 2 in 1 kid trailer that I have used a ton since my now 2.5 yr old started walking. We also have a <.5 yr that is going to be sitting on her own soon enough. My wife has used the trailer as a walk behind stroller some to get both kids to and from a nearby neighbor. We live w/ in biking distance of the Y and some relatives but maybe at the far end of walking/stroller-ing distance. So I wanted her to 1) have a bike, and 2) be able to tow the kids around. Tracking down this part was tough, but once I found it these folks had it to me quick, just in time for me to not wrap it for Christmas and forget to give it to my wife Christmas morning, But she didn't know about the bike yet either so I made her guess what the part was later in the day as my way of revealing the bike to her.
