Torka Poet - 07/05/2008 Bought this trailer to take my 2, 20 lb dogs on a 5 day bike tour in Idaho. Only brought one dog, as the other panicked every time the trailer started to move. She was fine in it when not moving - but that isn't the trailer's fault. The damage she did to it in her complete panic was actually quite small, the mesh cover got torn fairly badly, but that is a testament to how sturdy the mesh is, any less sturdy and it would have been in shreds. The other dog and I had a great time, riding ~30 miles/day. He took turns running alongside on leash and riding in the trailer and really seemed to enjoy the trip. The trailer was very stable and handled a few spots of off-road riding just fine. The dog go a little upset with a motorcycle riding along side and hurled himself at the side of the trailer, I barely felt it. I left the front cover open so he could jump back in when he got tired. It all worked out perfectly. The only thing I'd add to this trailer would be a loop of some sort to hold a water container, but I guess most people don't spend all day with their dogs in this the way I did.
Bottom line, easy to use, easy to pull, and study. Great trailer and the guys and biketrailershop were great to work with.
Ty Hodgson - 05/21/2008 You guys are the best! I placed the order and in no time you filled the order and then I received a confirmation from Fedex that they had the order for shipping. The trailer is great we have a 22 lb. dog that loves to go for rides in the car. We tried out the Rover and he loved it. We are so excited that he can go with us now when we go on rides. The only thing I would recommend that I didn't do when I first placed the order is get an additional hitch so thatr you can trade off who has the trailer.
Once again it has been GREAT doing business with you guys!
Respectfully,
T. Hodgson
Greg Helton - 02/11/2008 The Rover was easy to put together. It pulls very easily. On the flats you don\'t even notice it. It is very well made, very smooth to pull. No problem with stability even when the dog is standing or walking around the trailer. It has a lot of nice features. I got the optional kickstand which is nice to have when not attached to the bike. My dog ( about 20 lbs) and a Terrier got used to it very quickly. She now justs sits and looks around. Josh and http://BikeTrailerShop.com were a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend this site to a friend.
