Burley Trailer Classic Hitch

The patented Burley Classic Hitch works on bicycles with traditional rear triangle frame designs. This hitch utilizes a clamping mechanism to lock against the left (non-drive side) chain stay and seat stay tubes of a bicycle.

A Burley trailer can last forever but Burley suggest that you replace the Classic hitch every five years to ensure safety.

If necessary, you can include a Flex Connector with the purchase of your hitch. The Flex Connector attaches the hitch to the hitch arm of the trailer and is available for both Round Flex Connector and Square Flex Connector trailer models. Burley recommends that you replace the flex connector every five years. Most 2007 and newer Burley trailers use a square tongue while most pre-2007 models use round tongues.
